I loved the friendly staff. The restaurant offered high-quality food, and the modern decor was super attractive. My quiet room really allowed me to relax.. and the central location helped me see all the attractions!
The electronic light system was a bit irritating, especially trying to find the right light at night.

Really good Stay!

The valet parking set a fantastic tone. Both bars, especially the rooftop patio, were AMAZING. The breakfast spread was HUGE with really great staff. I loved that the location couldn't be beat. It was seven minutes to the center and all the highlights.
The room was on the smaller side.

The room i occupied presented a significant design flaw. the shower stall, crafted from clear glass, protruded directly into the bedroom. this arrangement lacked privacy. furthermore, the lighting system proved unnecessarily complex. I struggled to operate the switches effectively, particularly in darkness.

The staff was attentive. They promptly addressed every request i had. breakfast was AMAZING!!! it included fresh, healthy options that were a good change from typical hotel fare. i appreciated the solid, high-quality toiletries provided in the room, specifically the shampoo and lotion. the bed was unbelievably comfortable. I slept soundly each night.
The light switches were confusing. It was difficult to find the correct light in the dark. it took me a few tries each time i needed to use the bathroom at night. the electronic key system added to the frustration.

the hotel is walkable to restaurants. the douro river is also nearby. the central location allowed easy access to many points of interest. i found the area to be very convenient.

the pool is big enough to swim laps but it is also relaxing, and it is beautifully lit. the hotel provides spa and gym facilities. the building has no gutter, but it reduces the water drips.

the light switches were difficult to operate in the dark i found it easier to use my phone's light there were also no hooks for towels in the bathroom this was inconvenient.
